This year’s two-week program <https://csc.web.cern.ch/CSC/2013/This_year_school/03-Programme/Programme_overview.htm> is comprised of 50 hours of lectures and hands-on exercises and includes Advanced data and storage technologies, Data Replication and Caching, Efficient use of Many-core technologies, Key aspects of multi-threading, Concurrent programming, Writing secure code, Cryptography, Statistical methods and probability concepts in physics-data analysis, *Multivariate Analysis and Visualisation.*/**

The CSC is not a conference but a true summer university and delivers the CSC diploma as well as ECTS//credits to students who succeed in the final examination.

Networking and socialization is the other goal of CSCs. One vehicle for social networking is the CSC Sport Programme
